Loving October
I got my Ghoul Tidings up by the beginning of October. I found this frame in the sale pile at Micheal's and thought it would do. It was a little too big so I added some ric rac and Halloween fabric that Barb from The Wicked Stitcher sent me. Vonna from the Twisted Stitcher (both of these ladies are amazingly talented and sweet) messaged me about trying another finish but I was too scared. I am hoping to improve my finishing skills one day. My local quilt shop is having a few classes on finishing techniques and one of them is at the end of this week... I am so excited!
~~~Here is a peak at week 4 of Mary's Sampler ... The design is from Plum Street Samplers and can be found on her blog. I am doing both Sampler I and II. I do love stitching this little bits every week!
Czarownica wyszła piękna. Ten materiał pasuje do klimatu Halloween.
So Cute! BOO!
Hi Amy, I love Ghoul Tidings and I think your finishing is great!! I consider it a weakness of mine. The frame looks wonderful with that design. I'm doing Mary's Sampler too. I still have this weeks to finish.
Super finish, perfect frame and I love the addition of the fabric and ric rac trim.
The frame is perfect.
Greetings, Manuela
that frame and how you added the sweet rick rack and fabric...it is stunning Amy, sincerely, that is gorgeous I couldn't have done any better and I'm thinking I'm going to copy you! :)
I love it! The frame and bits of ric rac and fabric are perfect.
Love how you finished your Ghoul Tidings piece with the addition of the ric rac and Halloween fabric! Did you sew down the ric rac and fabric? Your Mary Samplers are looking good.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Amy!
