quilting in progress

I started quilting my "A Boy's Story" quilt. This one. I have a feeling it is going to take awhile, but I think it will be so cute when I am done. Hopefully I can get it done in time to take it camping with us this year. The kids and I can wrap up in it by the campfire at night.

Ready for the Competitions

I've been sewing up some things to carry to the robotics competition this year. My daughter is on the FIRST robotics team for her school. They are team 1086 ~ Blue Cheese. I made her this very cute string backpack for carry around the competition. The pattern came from Noodlehead. I liked that it had a pocket for her phone.
A big thank you to Monica for helping me out. I had some trouble figuring this pattern out and Monica is wonderful. The picture below is my daughter with her new string backpack getting ready to head to their first competition of this season.
I also had to make myself a Blue Cheese bag for the competitions. I used some robot fabric to trim the inside.

Here is one side~~

And here is the other side~~I have since added a yellow button for the closure.

Let the games begin!

Sew on

Progress on the 'Flower quilt'. Most of the outer white boarders are not embroider yet. So I still have a lot of stitching to do.

Some 'ice' wonky stars. :o)

more stitching

Here are some more tiny stitched up flowers from the 'flower quilt'. Pattern from Bareroots.

The start of something cute. I'll explain this later , but it is a few of my favorite things.

And I've only added 4 spider webs so far to my Halloween quilt, but I finally added a tiny spider.

progress

Making some progress on my 'flower quilt'.

This block is my favorite so far. I think it is because the flowers are orange. And I LOVE orange.

Happy stitching!
