Happy 4th of July

We were suppost to go camping and I am so bummed that we didn't. But the bus broke down on I-95 very close to our house. So no camping this weekend, I am having camping withdrawal.

I am getting so sewing done, but first..... does anyone know how to work this thing?.. It is from The Grace Company. I want to quilt my picnic quilt bad on it, but the directions are so confusing to me. If you have one please let me know. I would love to chat with you.

I got half of a sewconnected 3 block done. It's a string block, so much fun to do. And it's for Darci of stitches and scissors.

Here is progress on my mini 'Be Creative' quilt.

And here is my mini camper quit hung on our wall. I just love how this turned out.

Happy 4th of July to all my American bloggers and friends.
ps, I did finially get the elastic in my son's PJ pants I was making him too. Yeah

Amy, I think there is a yahoo group for jsut about every quilt frame. You might try and see if you can find a group of users.

Bummer about the bus! I think my friend Cathy no blog has a Grace frame, but she's NEVER USED IT. She uses it for storage. I agree with Vicki, try a yahoo group.
Love the string blocks, I want to try that! Love the be creative one too, but that camper quilt is awesome. Happy 4th, and congrats on getting the elastic in,lol!

Is that a little Gracie? Or the full sized one? I don't have one, but have been looking at and reading about frames because I'll eventually get one. I'm in Yahoo groups for my brand of serger and for making sewing patterns and for machine embroidery with my particular machine, so I'm sure everyone else is right and there's a group for the Gracie. Boy, was that a run-on sentence, or what?

It looks like a great frame. Do you have a long arm machine for it? Or can you use a regular machine with it? (like the QBot)?

Aw, bummer about the bus. I was going to call you this weekend but kept reminding myself that you were camping. I should have tried anyway!

So, if you want some help trying to figure out the frame, let me know. Maybe we can figure it out together.

Happy 4th of July! What a bummer you didn't make it camping. I love all your UFO's - you need to go shopping to get the stuff to finish them all. Sorry I'm no help with the quilt frame - but I'll be waiting for updates on your success.
