our camping trip to Washington D.C.

Was absolutely fabulous. We had the best time. We got to see where the president lives. :o)

and see him take off in his helicopter.
My children in the blooming cherry blossom trees.
We camped in MD @ Greenbelt state park. It was beautiful and peaceful.
We went up and saw Lincoln in he chair. :0) And went to a few of the Smithsonians. They were awesome. I kept thinking.... I can't believe this is free.
And on another note.... here is the other wall in Jonah's room where he drew his prehistory sea monsters and I painted them in. He even spelled out "sea - monsters" and wanted me to paint that too. My sweet boy.

We go in a week and a half. I can't wait! I hope the cherry blossoms are still out.

What a wonderful vacation you had in DC! Our capital is an amazing place, I think! Love the Smithsonian! You need a week just for that!

The cherry blossom photo is LOVELY...and the monkeys in the tree are so cute!
