Chubby Chicks are done.

I ended up leaving the last boarder off. It was just too big for me. I would have had a hard time quilting it. And it wouldn't of be fun. It has to be fun to do or I won't finish it. Anyway.... it's done. Quilted and bond. I am waiting for hubby to hang it on my wall for me. It will hang in my living room. I just love how it turned out.

new BOM and chicks have eyes.

I started a new BOM called 'Once Upon a Time'. ( like I needed another project to do :o) ). But I could not resist it. The first block is so cute.. It's called Rapunzel. Here is my version. I haven't added the long braid out the window yet because I don't have yarn yet. But you can click on the link and see other people who have finished to block already and they have the cute little braid coming out the window.
There is another BOM stitchery I am thinking of doing.. am I crazy? It is just so cute too. It is called ' Verandah Views' and the first block is ' Under the Willow'. I am still tying to decide if I have the time to add another stitchery to my list of on going projects.

Good news.... The Chicks have eyes. :o) I ended up painting them.

chicken feet

All my chickens have feet now. I embroidered them on our way home from NC, (7 hour trip). Only a few more beaks to add, then I'll be putting the middle of the quilt together.

more chicks and a 'yummy' tea towel.

I worked on my chickens today. Some of them have beaks now.

And ' The shop' , http://www.quiltingadventures.com/qablog/ , is now carrying tea towels and ric rac. I made this cute tea towel with our 'sublime stitching' pattern.

I love the onion. I love the all, but he is my favorite.
