A little bit of what I've been working on. Remember that crazy 6 1/2 inch block with 40 pieces? Well, I haven't sewn it together yet, but

I've cut it out. I can't get to my sewing machine right now because my son has a giant tent set up in the living room ( where my machine is right now). He's been play camping in there at night since Monday. So that will have to wait until the tent comes down and I can get to the sewing machine. But here are my 40 pieces laid out like a snake.

I've been working on a Wall-E for my daughter.

And a "Snug as a Bug" candle mat, pattern by Bareroots.

I probably won't be too productive over the weekend. I work the next two days, then Friday we leave to go camping till Monday. Yeah! Hopefully I can squeeze a little sewing time in. Happy almost Independence Day!

Are you using the Marti Michell templates for the triangles?
No, I've been printing them off on my computer. The book comes with a CD that has printable templates.
Awww, I love the Wall-E cross stitch. :D
I am so tempted to join this QAL! I am loving everybody's work that I am seeing. Your is looking so nice, and I would be scared of that block too!
