table runner and sandwich holder

Finished my vw bus table runner and put it on Etsy. I love how it turned out.

Here it is hung on the back of one of our buses.

Look at this cute thing. I just finished making it. It is from the book " Sew What! Bags" by Lexie Barnes. I love a lot of the projects in this book. This one is a sandwich holder. I hate to use and throw away all the plastic baggies we use up in the school year.
I am going to make a few of them so I don't have to clean the same one everyday. And I can use more very cute fabric!! This is ray guns... how cute. I have been wanting to make something out of this fabric since we got it at the shop ( Quilting Adventures). We also carry the 'iron-on vinyl'. I ironed on the vinyl before I made the holder.

PS. Quilting Adventures sells the book too. :o)

I'm out of the loop - but you already know that, right? But are you making any of these for me for sample for the gift fair? Pretty please with lots of chocolate on top? :-)

The picture on your table runner is awesome! So is the text. I am not a table runner person at all, will never ever use them. This sandwich bag is fun. I am curious if you like using and cleaning them when there is jam inside. Here in Holland it is very normal to bring a sandwich box. Those go in the dishwasher! All kids have two each in case we forgot to put the dishwasher on or it wasn´t full.

Love the table runner. And those sandwich bags are a great idea - I get tired of throwing away all the plastic bags....
