It's August .... here is my sewconnected 3 block for John for the month of Aug. This was a little out of my box. I would never have worked with these fabrics, they just aren't me and I never would have made this block. This is one of the reasons I like joining a quilting bee groups. It makes me work with fabrics and make blocks that I would never have thought of before.
This fabric is from Anna Maria Horner line called 'Good Folks'. Happy sewing!!!

Good luck with your quilts in the fair! I have been thinking about entering a quilt, but I realized all the quilts I have made were given as gifts.
I love, love, love the Good Folks line! I am glad you got a chance to use some. =]
Sewing in bed. I haven't done that yet, but you never know ;-). Love the block too. I wished I had fabrics like that in my stash...
