this week.

Some new fabric for a new project. I am going to make a 'sort-of' I Spy quilt. But I am going to use my son's drawings and magnify glasses.

Here are his little drawings and they are all over the house. He draws all the time. ( the big smiling lizard is my drawing.) :o)
Easter gifts for the kids..... travel pillows and cases for when we go camping.
I don't know if I ever showed a photo of my finished "flower quilt". Here it is , very hard to see the detailed embroidery work on it. This quilt is on it's way to NC, to Chihuahua Rescue and Transport. They are having raffles to raise money and I donated this quilt.
And here is my new toy... my new teardrop trailer. Hubby and I will be going to pick her up next weekend. I can't wait to make curtains and a quilt to go inside. :o)

Love it, love it, love it, all of it...the I Spy quilt with your son's drawings (super cute!), the travel pillows unique to each child, the flower quilt for charity AND that awesome teardrop trailer. How exciting are these days for you? Enjoy!

That is such a great idea to make an "i spy" quilt from your son's drawings. It is such a neat way to preserve those forever!

I am impressed that you are giving away such a beautiful quilt for charity. I know it will raise tons of money. It really demonstrates what a giving person you are!

That is such a neat trailer! It looks so short, how tall is it? Now you will have two "rooms" for when you go camping!

Adorable drawings for your 'I Spy' quilt -- what a treasure to have in the years to come!

And holey, moley -- your flower quilt is so gorgeous. You always do the most amazing embroidery!

Ooh, love the trailer. We're now trying to decide if we want to go ahead and sell our bus with plans to get an actual camper bus when we move back to the states in a couple years, or just put it in storage. Ours is a passenger bus with a Z-bed, but I do tihnk I would really prefer to have a camper with the popup roof someday, especially if we have kids when we come back.
