crazy week.

This is always a crazy week. My son's birthday and my birthday fall in the same week. Plus my hubby decided to take us to the circus last week. So from parties, to the circus I did get a little sewing in. I am so close to finishing up my brother's quilt. It just needs binding.

And I only have about 2 more blocks to embroider on my flower quilt till I can sandwich is together and quilt it. :o)
If I get these two projects done , then I can justify starting another project. Yeah.

You are much too hard on yourself as far as sewing & quilting. Your brother's quilt AND the flower quilt are almost done when you've had birthdays and the circus? You're amazing! Fantastic work, beautiful quilts. Most especially, happy, HAPPY birthday to you and your son. Know pleasures, inspiration, peace and JOY in abundance!

They are both beautiful and I am in awe that either quilt is almost done! You have been super busy. Your brother is going to love that quilt!:)

Amy, I love the colors in your brother's quilt. I find it hard to design quilts for men. When in doubt, make it scrappy is my mantra LOL.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY to both you and your son - and I agree - you are much too hard on yourself - these both look beautiful!

Got some quilting done with all these parties! You are very good. congratulations on both birthdays. I like your brothers quilt very much. It is a real mans quilt. And for the flower quilt... it looks promising, but I really need to see more ;-)!
