All the noses and feet on, some noses still need to be stitched down. But no eyes yet. I started putting the blocks together, just wanted to show you.
I am not sure what I am going to do for the eyes just. Buttons?? french knots?? or paint??. That is still up in the air.

I am enjoying watching the progress of this adorable quilt! I love the pinwheels and that you chose a neutral instead of matching one of the pastels or brights! For eyes, I like the idea of little dark-colored buttons or embroidered eyes, but whatever you choose will be spectacular, I'm sure. And thanks for the link to the pattern; I may have to make one for myself!
This is so cute! And I think black buttons in all different sizes would be good. Or black beads....can't wait to see it finished. Happy New Years!

Beautiful colours and composition. I especially love the idea of french knot eyes.
Thank you for visiting Gooseflesh and leaving me a note. It's such a treat.
How cute! I am using the little buttons for mine, since I am probably going to hang it on the wall. You could also consider using small felt circles.
Oh it's so cute!! Love the little bright chookys with the neutral pinwheels. For the eyes I think little black beads would look good, but if it's for a wee one then french knots or paint would look great too :o).
Can't wait to see it all finished!!
Happy new year ...
Hugs,
Joy :o)
It is one of the cutest quilts I've seen. You continue to make amazing progress! I think buttons or french knots. Try a few things and you'll know the perfect eyes when you see it! :) Can't wait to see it finished. Adorable, no doubt!
And a Happy New Year to you and yours!
So sweet!
Happy New Year, Amy!
They are cute! Buttons or beads would be great for eyes.
Such a wonderful quilt! Anything you chose for the eyes will add charm and character. Looking forward to seeing more pictures! Happy New Year!
