what I've been up to

I have been working on my embroidery wall hanging. I have one and 1/2 rows to go. I just can't wait to hang it in my living room. It is turning out pretty cute. Last night I got to watch the new season of "Project Runway" while stitching.

I have also been working on my strips n curves. Two more outer boarders to add. I can't decide whether to machine quilt it or hand quilt it. I would love to hand quilt it, but all my free (sewing machine) time goes into embroidering.
This is my fat pug, Weasel thinking that my quilt top is her bed.
Our "young people sit and stitch" group. Stitching and laughing. This is Krystal and Pheobe acting silly. The sit and stitch group is at Quilting Adventures in Richmond Va. On the 3rd Tuesday of every month, 6-8pm. Come join us if your in the area!!!!

Hi Amy---found you via Peg Challenge list.....thought I'd come visit since we share the same name :0)

What a LOVELY wall quilt! I am not much of a "stitcher"; would rather sit in front of my machine making creations. I ADORE the colors present in the hanging----like the others, I can't wait to see it finished, and a picture of the whole hanging!

Your embroidery is so adorable! I love the gradual change of colors in your quilt. And if I were in the VA area---I would love to join your stitch group!
