We were at "High Country Bus Festival" this weekend. We camped right on New River in NC. The VW buses went on and on for about a mile and 1/2 down the river. The weather was GREAT. Not too hot and not too cold.

I did get to embroider while camping. I put my very comfortable camping chair right by the river bank and embroidered while watching the people float down the river. I am on my last row of my embroidered wall hanging. (will post pics later. )

That looks like such a fun weekend! I wish we could get away for a camping weekend, but it's not happening at the moment....

oh my goodness - that camper van brings back memories - I bought one in Australia and travelled the whole of the East coast in it - it was a totally cool little camper! Plus I love the way other campers beeped and waved at me when they went past - its like your own little sub-culture!!!
