Sewing retreat at my local quilt shop (Quilting Adventures) last Saturday. Six hours of uninterrupted sewing. I got almost a whole top finished.

These are coin stacks from my Heather Ross stash. And I don't know when I'll get time to work on it again.

I laid it out when I got home and my husband says "Is that octopus supposed to have a head?". I didn't even notice it. LOL But how funny!!!

For Easter my daughter and one of her best friends made a cake. They wouldn't let me see it until it was done. Look how cute it turned out...

It's a bunny stuck in a tree stump hole. The cake was delicious too.

That quilt is going to be fantastic:) I love your happy "accident" with the mermaid! How funny:) My cross quilt is the SLOWEST quilt top I have EVER pieced..ugh!
