Did you have a wonderful Thanksgiving?

I did. I spent it with my in-laws who are wonderful people.
While on Thanksgiving break, I finished my last tea towel for the Tea Towel Tour 5. Jennifer, Cupcakeguru, had a Hallween theme. I got the pattern on flickr from Q is for Quilter.

I wanted to show you the casserole cover I made for my sister in law. We exchanged Christmas gifts over Thanksgiving because we won't be seeing each other for Christmas. So here is the top, closed, with the handles. I put a big D on the top for there last name.
The inside is a table runner with insul-bright in the inside. The insul-bright can protect the table from the heat and keep the cassrole warm while it's in the cover. ( sorry for the 'bed' shot, the table was covered with gifts and wrapping paper so I had to use the bed.)

Here is the cover opened all the way.

You close it up and take it along. :o) Cute? I think so. I made one for my mom and dad too, but in different colors and in the bigger size.
The pattern is from " Among Brenda's quilts".
