winnings and top finished

Thank you to Elizabeth of ' Oh Fransson '. She was having a give away on her blog ( love her blog). It was for these coin cuts of Heather Ross fabric. And I won them!!!!

I just love Heather Ross fabric and most of them you just can't find anymore. So now I have a little cut of most of them. One day I hope to make a stacked coin quilt out of them. So.. thank you so much Elizabeth. You just don't know how happy this makes me.
I finished my picnic quilt top.... now, all these squares came for other quilters around the world. Mostly in the U.S. I think I want to put there names and where they live on each block so I can remember them.

It just needs to be sandwiched and quilted now. I just don't know if I am going to do it myself or have a long armer quilt it for me. If I do quilt it myself it will be the biggest quilt I have ever quilted. It's not the funnest part for me. And it might take awhile.

so while I decide there are other things to sew. :o)

How lucky for you to win those cute fabrics! And I hear ya on the quilting. Big things scare me, too! If you don't know about the cutting away the batting trick, ask me. It might help.

Congrats on your fabulous Heather Ross win! Phew! Love these fabrics.

And your quilt top finish is just marvelous....wow! And I agree, quilting it can be the most daunting part -- nevertheless, Amy -- it is a work of beauty!
