Father's day and my quilt is done.

What a wonderful day. I got to spend the day with my dad and my husband. This is me and my dad pool side.
I finished the binding on my quilt today. It will be my mom's quilt's as soon as the shop ( Quilting Adventures) challange is over or the shop doesn't need it anymore. I like how it turned out, it is just a little too bright for me. I like more muted colors. :o)

Here is my beautiful daughter helping me out by holding the quilt up.
PS. this quilt pattern came out of the book 'Quilting for Joy'. I would link it, but my computer is acting up, it think this computer hates me.

The quilt turned out beautifully! I like how the binding turned out. It stills pops a little since you used a different polka dot. I'm sure your mom will love it!

Looks great Amy...it is hard to make something when it is not really "your" colours...but great to work outside your comfort zone too. It is really nice.
