Started my mom's quilt.

I started making the blocks for my mom's quilt. She likes strips and dots. So that is what I'm using. She also said she like all colors. It won't be on the white, the sashing will be black. I just put them on the white so you could see them better. Not sure how big it's going to be yet, but it looks like it might be the biggest quilt that I have to( or going to have to ) quilt yet.

These blocks are beautiful...simple, bright, yet stunning. Your mom will love it for the fabrics and pattern you've chosen for her, but most of all for your time and care in making the quilt. Lovely!

lol. The quilt I am making now is for my mom too, but she doesn't know it yet. I can't wait to see it sashed in black since I haven't done that.

Amy,

The book is "The Border Workbook: Easy Speed-Pieced and Foundation-Pieced Borders" by Janet Kime.
