The sun came out today, yeah!!
We went to a wedding this weekend in NC. My husband's cousin got married. It was such a beautiful wedding, it was out doors by a stream/ brook. The bride rode up in a horse and carriage, then they road off in it when the wedding was done. Here is a picture of my family and me by the stream.
I worked a little on my 'Chubby Chicks' quilt. I actually started it finally.
I am making it a little softer in color then the one on the pattern. The green is just a little too bright for me in the pattern. Here is what I have so far.....
This fabric is going to be the back of my brother's quilt. Which I probably won't start until January or later. But I am trying to gather up fabric now for it.
This will be the front fabric. Still not sure on the pattern I will use yet, but I have a ways to go to think about it.
Thank you everyone for your kind words you left me. You made me smile.

Glad to see you around again. And I really like your fabric choices for both quilts - can't wait to see more of them. Looks like gorgeous weather for an outdoor wedding - we just had 3" of snow - UGH.

Welcome back! I also really like your fabric choices. The hula girls is way too funny. It is perfect for a boy!
I love the chicks quilt! And you have such a cute family
WOW! Where do I start?! The wedding sounds beautiful and the family picture is wonderful, a sweet memory from this special time.
I love the fabrics you've chosen for all of your quilts, definitely like the softer tones you are going with on the Chubby Chicks. And the one for the back of your brother's...FUN!
So good you're back & feeling well!
Welcome back. I love the fabric you chose for the little chicks. And I think it goes great with the khaki color.
Welcome back!!! Your chubby chicks quilt is adorable - and I love the backing fabric for your brother's quilt ;o). I've been making a quilt for a friends wedding all in browns/neutrals too. I just have the borders to do now, must finish it - trouble is, I have too many projects on the go at once LOL.
Hugs,
Joy :o)
Love the fabric you picked for the chicks! Can't wait to see it done!
