the newest member of our family.... Basil.

Here is Basil. He is my baby chihuahua who is 7 weeks old.
We tryed to weight him, but the scale wouldn't register, so I guess he is under a pound.

He has already won my heart. I love him. He will be making his first camping trip this weekend too. I'll let you know how he does on my camping blog when we get back.
I made a really cute bakit doggie harness to sell on Etsy. Of course it fits a chihuahua. This is Chile, He is about 8 or 9 pounds.

And I told you awhile back I would show you Miss Ward's end of the year wall hanging quilt. Miss Ward is Jonah's teacher. I finished quilting it. The end of the book says" teacher, teacher what do you see?". So I added a photo of Miss Ward at the bottom. Isn't she cute and she is as sweet as a button.

Progress is still coming along on my gerger flower quilt , ( no photo this time). I am getting about one block quilted a day. But I am leaving to go camping tomorrow. So 4 days without quilting on it.
Happy Sewing, Amy

stitchery and pin cushion

I worked on two stitchery BOM's on the camping trip. ( camping trip blogged here.) The first on is the Shabby Roses by Elefantz.
And the 2nd one is the stringybark farm by MissyMack.
We stopped by a flea Market on the way home and I found a pin cushion. I collect antique pin cushions, so I was so excited.

My new blog

Is all about our camping trips. Campin~Amy. We camp once or twice a month from the months of April thru November.

We camp in our VW bus, and our new teardrop trailer. Here are the kiddies on the way to a camp trip.

This is in MD on the Shore. This bus is our old one. Her name was 'Papa Smurf'.

'Everybus', not sure which year. Some buses lined up. There is usually 175 buses at this campout.
I will just be posting about our trips and our buses. This weekend we are off to PA, hope it doesn't rain too much. I'll be taking some embroidery work with me to stitch on the way up and back. :o) Can't wait to show you.... later.

Is he not the cutest thing.....

My husband found him in our back yard. After we got pictures of him, Jeremy ( my husband) put him on the porch and he took off and flew up in a tree. So no harm was done to the cute baby bird.

My shop challange quilt top coming along slllloooowly.

And I am getting ready to start quilting my son's teacher's quilt. This is her end of the year gift. I used the 'Brown Bear' panel. I'll show the whole thing when I am done. :o)

teacher appreciation week.

This week is teacher appreciation week at school. Today Jonah picked a beautiful daisy flower out of our yard to give Miss Ward, his wonderful teacher.
Here is a sneak peak of my row robin. (sorry , my brain is just kaput) I don't know if I have mentioned my row robin yet or not. The quilt group I am in is having a row robin. We are starting this month.
So I need "my" row done my the end of May. Actually the last Monday in May. Does it look like grass and sky? I am going to go with a camping theme. Go figure, hahaha.
